[ Hello...I'm sure some of you maybe confused with this. Let me introduce myself...I am Brianna James, yes..I'm Brandi's mom. Most of you know my husband very well by now, me I like to stay in the back ground but this time I just can't. I believe in my heart of hearts that Rick Young is a decent, good man. Sometimes my husband and daughter can go too far with their little childish antics. I feel so bad for rick I feel like I have to do something. Once I decided that I picked up the phone and called Brandi's house in the hopes of Rick picking up the phone. After a few rings the phone was finally picked up and I heard... ] Rick Young: "County mogue...you stab 'em...we slab 'em..." [ I heard Rick say before he laughed a little bit before he said... ] Rick Young: "Hello?" Brianna James: "Rick?" [ I sorta laughed, he does have an odd sense of humor but atleast he has one.] Rick Young: "Speaking...may I ask whose calling?" Brianna James: "It's Mrs. James..." Rick Young: "Oh... yello Mrs. James you want me to get Brandi for you?" [ Rick said, as I could barely hear the sound of him flicking through the television chanels. ] Brianna James:"Actually no Rick...I was wondering if you were busy at the moment." Rick Young: "Not really...just chanel surfing..." Brianna James: "Well far be it from me to take you away from your channel surfing but would it be possible for you to come over?" Rick Young: "Yeah just give me a minute to throw my shoes on." Brianna James: "Ok... See you then..." [ I hung up the phone from Rick and stood up to tidy up the living room. My husband being a typical male left a bunch of tapes near the entertainment cabinet. On top of the stack of videos was the tape of our 25th anniversary. It was such a lovely time, I hadn't watched it since the night it was tapes..wow almost 2 years ago. For fun I put it in and pushed played and cleaned the living room, only taking short looks at the tv as it played. A few minutes later there was a knock and I knew that it was Rick. The door then opened and Rick walked wearing a pair of blue jean shorts and a white t - shirt. ] Rick Young: "Mrs. James?" [ I didn't hear Rick say my name at all...I swear..unlike my husband head games are not my thing at all.. I was simply distracted by what I was watching on tv...which was this... Brandi and Josh are seen on a stage in a function hall where Mr. and Mrs. James's anniversary is being held. As a "fun thing to do" Cameron Junior hired a DJ with a Karaoke machine set up. After a bit of convincing from Mr. James, Josh and Brandi found themselves up on the stage. Brandi dress in a cute red halter dress and josh in a dark grey pin stripe suit. Josh has a bottle of bud in his hand and Brandi has a girly drink in hers...they both laugh as they wait for the song to appear on the screen.] Josh Beckett: "Now,I'm not much of a singer, I don't sing as well as my girl does..." [ Josh puts his arms around Brandi as she smiles and looks up at him.] Josh Beckett: "but I'll do my best...sorry if it sounds a bit country..." [ Brandi laughs and runs her free hand through his hair, as the song starts.] Josh Beckett: "I'm gonna do all the things for you, a girl wants a man to do. Oh, baby ....I'll sacrifice for you, I'll even do wrong for you. Oh, baby (Oh, brandi).... Every minute, every hour.,,,,,, I'm gonna shower you with love and affection. Look out it's coming in your direction..... And I'm... I'm gonna make you love me.... Oh, yes I will..... Yes I will.... I'm gonna make you love me..... Oh, yes I will.... Yes I will." [ Brandi tosses her head back giggling a bit..she sips her drink then sings ..] Brandi James; "Look it here. My love is strong, you see...... I know you'll never get tired of me. Oh, baby Josh Beckett: "Sure won't..." Brandi James: "Oh baby.....And I'm gonna use every trick in the book. I'll try my best to get you hooked.,,, Hey, Beckett..." Josh Beckett: "Take me I'm yours" Brandi James: "Hey, baby....And every night, every day......I'm gonna say. I'm gonna get you, I'm gonna get you. Look out Josh, 'cause I'm gonna get you. I'm gonna make you love me. Ooo, yes I will. Yes I will. And I'm gonna make you love me. Ooo, yes I will You know I will. [ I looked at the tv then at the clock....I was wondering why it had been taking Rick so long sicne he only lived a few house down. Then I looked over my shoulder and saw Rick standing there. From the look on his face I knew he had been watching Josh and Brandi on the tv. He looked mad and uncomfortable. I felt so bad that I didn't wait to watch it. I forgot that Brandi brought Josh to our anniversary and that them singing to each other was on that tape. I quickly reached over to the tv and turned off the power button...to shut it off.] Brianna James: "Rick...oh my...I'm so sorry...I didn't mean for you to see that...I was..oh my I don't know what to say...I'm sorry...can I get you something?" Rick Young: "No thanks...I am fine..." [ He said, as he just continued to look at the television which was now turned off and was just a dark tube now. ] Rick Young: "Can we just get to the point of why you wanted me to come over before your husband finds out I am here, because I really doubt that he would be happy to know I step foot in this house." Brianna James: "Well that you are correct about...Care to sit?" Rick Young: "I prefer to stand if it's all the same...just incase I have to defeat myself from your husband should he sees me here." [ Rick said, as he finally turned his head to look over towards me instead of the television. ] Brianna James: "Alright then..." [ Even though Rick didn't want to sit I took a seat at the end of the sofa, and crossed my arms.] Brianna James: "So how are you Rick?" Rick Young: "I am good Mrs. James...forfeiting the match to Zeek was a good idea, because it gave me a little time to rest my knee after his assault on it." Brianna James: "I'm sure it did...How is the knee?" Rick Young: "It's good...still have to wear the knee brace during matches and the show, but I am getting use to that." Brianna James: "Better a knee brace than surgery..right?" Rick Young: "Yeah...more now than ever with me being the World Heavyweight champion and all, but Mrs. James I really doubt that you called me over he to talk about my knee." [ Rick said, looking at me wondering what the real reason why I asked him over here. ] Brianna James: "No, I didn't call you over here to ask about your knee..." [ I looked down then at Rick..] Brianna James: "Rick, how are you and Brandi doing?" Rick Young: "It's hard to say...right now I don't know what I want to tear her head off for first...having that bastard Alex Wilkins on her show last week and not having him arrested for violating the restraining order or the fact that she gave her father the bright idea about "money in the bank" thing for my title." [ Rick said, as he stuffed his hands in to the pocket of his pants. ] Brianna James: "Yeah..well Brandi..." [ I couldn't help but laugh..] Brianna James: "Rick, Brandi is like her father. There is no getting around it at all. She does things for reaction. She doesn't care if it's a good or bad one. The point is she makes people wonder what she will do next and gets them talking. Understand what I mean?" Rick Young: "Yeah, but really I don't see the reason why she wants to drive me insane for though." Brianna James: "Rick, I don't think it's personal. Brandi's life is business, no matter how much she says it's not. Once she gets into this and then has her daddy with her..well they bring out the best and worst in each other. I mean the only time Brandi was actually close not being devious was when she was with Josh. He really had her settled and wanting away from the wrestling...but once she's back..well...let's say I got the new ratings...and they've definately have gone up..people are excited about this money in the bank...." Rick Young: "Yeah the peon fans, your husband, and Alex Wilkins...I am not as it seems like the mother of my soon to be born child...my own wife is trying to sabotage my title reign. I had enough to worry about with Sensation and Williams...and now your husband and daughter added Wilkins." [ I took a deep breath...and sighed knowing that my daughter is slowly ripping this fine young man apart. Sad part is she's probably enjoying this knowing her.] Brianna James: "Rick, I wish I could say something to make it right but I can't. The fact is Brandi would and has sabotaged her own father for ratings. The last time she did that, Mr. James ended up in the psycho ward...and well lost most of his money." Rick Young: "I wish he would have stayed in the psycho ward, because at least then I would have to worry about him stopping by the house with cards Brandi wrote to Josh...or home movies..." [ Rick started to say, but then paused as he pulled his right hand out of the pocket it was in and pointed towards the television before finishing what he was saying... ] Rick Young: "Like that of Josh and Brandi to drive me up the fucking wall. I just want to be left alone with my wife and my son to point where I am going to move Brandi to Louisiana whether she likes it or not." Brianna James: "You are funny Rick...But no man makes Brandi do something she doesn't want to do. And as for the letters, cards and movies..I can only say sorry for the one you saw, which you weren't meant to. The others..well anything Cameron can think of to drive you mad he will...but I can tell you something." Rick Young: "What can you tell me?" [ Rick said with a puzzled look on his face. ] Brianna James: "Do you know what Josh has over you?" Rick Young: "You mean he has something other than Brandi's heart it seems?" Brianna James: "Is that how you feel? Do you feel that she's with you only because of the baby?" Rick Young: "You tell me...you know your daughter better than I do...If Josh is pitching and she is watching the game...she doesn't even realize I am in the room...let alone hear anything I say...well until commercial or the Red Sox are batting it's like I am not even there to her." [ Rick said, as he ran his right hand through his hair and turned away from me. ] Rick Young: "I buy our baby a really over expensive gift and I got the impression she could less about it, because she had recieved the tickets from Beckett for when they are going to be in town. She makes little snips at me, because I am not like Beckett and like to go to suit and tie restaurants. So like I said...you tell me." Brianna James: "So it bothers you? As well as it should...Rick, what Josh has over you is that he knows Brandi inside and out. Your relationship with my daughter started based on sex...Josh and Brandi..." [ I paused.Brandi would kill me if I told Rick this.] Brianna James: "well Josh and Brandi...actually dated...I mean really dated...Hell they were dating before her marriage to Walsh even fell apart. Little did Walsh know that Brandi was planning on leaving him for Josh...it's amazing how Walsh's RWA over seas promotions...co-insided with a 10 day game home stay when Josh was in town...but that's a story for another time...which Im sure you can care less about..point is...Josh knows how to drive her crazy cuz he's in her head...because he actually took his time to date her...they went out for six months before they even slept together...believe it or not..it's the little things...like..." Rick Young: "I would have loved to actually date your daughter, but it was suppose to be a one night fling and be over, but things happened and things went faster than what either of could have planned thanks to a little help from Hurricane Rita." Brianna James: "Well, I'm sure a fling was the way Brandi wanted it. She's like a man that..very cold, wants sex when she wants it...I went very wrong with her by allowing her to be around her father too much.." Rick Young: "I don't hate anything about your daughter other than when she is around her father or Josh Beckett...other than that I would change a thing." Brianna James: "Rick, if Brandi was around Josh...well...That's beside the point...my point is ...he's like her...He actually thinks like her, which is why she loves him so much. Josh likes his button down collar shirts, plus he's a cowboy of sorts and Brandi really likes that...but...the thing she likes the most about him..is that he sings to her....She told me that he's weakness...no matter how out of tune a man is...nothing is more romantic then she a guy puts his arms around you and sings to you...She's a sucker for it.." Rick Young: "I have some button down shirts...and singing...I can sing pretty good, but I don't like too." Brianna James: "It's just that my daughter is spoiled...which is my fault for never allowing my children to have fast food at all...which is why they hate it so much. Josh doesn't mind dressing up a bit and going out. Trust me he's not a suit kind of guy..hell he fixes his own cars, and at his ranch in texas still has the same beat up pick up truck to toy with and drive the cattle...but he likes his aeropastle shirts, the plaid shirts, stripes, and things... ...but I'm telling you...the thing I remember most was how she told me that she loved how he sang to her...I just figured it was something you'd like to know..." Rick Young: "Thanks...I will keep that in mind." [ He said, as he turned to look towards me again. ] Brianna James: "And so you know, if you didn't already...Tombstone is her favorite movie...But you should be on your way Mr. James will be home any moment....I hope this little talk of ours helped...I'm really pulling for you rick...if I can help in any way let me know." [ Rick left on that note...before Mr. James got home. I really hope that things will be fine for him and Brandi. But I know how my husband when he puts his mind to something.
